Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 avocados
- 1 lime
- 0.5 bunch cilantro
- salt
- black pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and chop it very finely.
- 2. Wash the chili pepper.
- 3. Slit the chili pepper lengthwise.
- 4. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 5. Dice the flesh of the chili into tiny cubes.
- 6. Peel the avocados.
- 7. Halve the avocados lengthwise.
- 8. Remove the pit from the avocado halves.
- 9. Carefully separate the flesh from the skin.
- 10. Cut the lime in half.
- 11. Squeeze the juice from the lime.
- 12. Wash the cilantro.
- 13. Shake the cilantro dry.
- 14. Chop the cilantro leaves finely.
- 15. Save a few cilantro leaves for garnish.
- 16. Mix the avocado flesh with the lime juice and chopped cilantro.
- 17. Mash the mixture into a smooth puree.
- 18. Stir the finely chopped onion into the avocado puree.
- 19. Stir the chili cubes into the avocado puree.
- 20. Save some chili for garnish.
- 21. Season the mixture to taste with salt.
- 22. Season the mixture to taste with pepper.
- 23. Garnish the dip with the remaining chili cubes.
- 24. Garnish the dip with the reserved cilantro leaves.
