🍽️ Creamy Chili Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 tbsp peanut oil
- 5 tbsp peanut butter
- 400 ml chicken broth
- 100 ml coconut milk
- soy sauce
- cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp peanuts
- 1 chili pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallot and the garlic clove.
- 2. Chop the shallot and the garlic very finely.
- 3. Chop the chili peppers small.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan.
- 5. Sauté the shallot and garlic in the hot oil.
- 6. Stir the peanut butter into the onion mixture.
- 7. Toast the mixture briefly.
- 8. Deglaze the pan with the broth.
- 9. Pour in the coconut milk.
- 10. Let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes.
- 11. Stir occasionally while doing so.
- 12. Remove the sauce from the heat when it is creamy.
- 13. Season the sauce with soy sauce.
- 14. Add cayenne pepper.
- 15. Coarsely chop the peanuts.
- 16. Heat a separate pan without oil.
- 17. Toast the chopped peanuts in the dry pan.
- 18. Fill the finished sauce into small bowls.
- 19. Sprinkle the roasted peanuts over the sauce.
- 20. Place a chili pepper on top as decoration.
- 21. Serve the dish.
