  1. 1. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions in it until they are soft and translucent (glassy). Add the minced meat and fry it for about 8 minutes until it is browned in small crumbles. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Pour the kidney beans and tomatoes along with their can liquid into a pot. Gently mash the tomatoes in the pot with a fork. Pour in the meat broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. 3. Stir the fried minced meat into the tomato mixture. Season everything with salt, pepper, and chili powder, and adjust the taste to your liking. Wash the coriander leaves and shake them dry.
  4. 4. Serve the chili con carne in bowls. Garnish with sour cream and fresh coriander. Serve the dish with corn chips.
