🍽️ Chicory Salad with Yogurt Dressing

Ingredients
- 2 chicory (-heads)
- 1 cucumber
- 4 tomatoes
- 150 g yogurt (or sour cream)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp seed oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 tbsp chive rings
- daisy flower (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Remove the outer leaves from the chicory and separate it into individual leaves. Cut out the hard core at the bottom. Wash the cucumber thoroughly and slice it into thin rounds. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into eight equal wedges.
- 2. Whisk the yogurt with the lemon juice, oil, sugar, a pinch of salt, and some pepper. Adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper if needed. Finally, stir in the finely chopped chives.
- 3. Place the prepared salad ingredients in a large bowl. Pour the yogurt dressing over them and toss everything lightly. Serve the salad garnished with small edible flowers, such as daisies, if desired.
