  2. 2. Mix the ground flour in a bowl with the white flour and the salt.
  3. 3. Press a well into the center of the flour mixture.
  4. 4. Add water spoonful by spoonful.
  5. 5. Knead the dough until it is soft and pliable.
  6. 6. Knead the oil into the dough.
  7. 7. Cover the dough.
  8. 8. Let the dough rest in a warm place for about 40 minutes.
  9. 9. Divide the dough into about 16 equal-sized balls.
  10. 10. Lightly flour the work surface.
  11. 11. Roll the dough balls into round flatbreads with a diameter of about 18 centimeters.
  12. 12. Preheat a large pan.
  13. 13. Cook the flatbreads without fat in the hot pan.
  14. 14. Fry them for about 1 to 2 minutes on the first side.
  15. 15. Turn the flatbreads.
  16. 16. Fry them for about 1 to 2 minutes on the second side.
  17. 17. Keep the finished flatbreads warm in the oven.
  18. 18. Serve the chapattis with curry.
