🍽️ Fresh Homemade Chapattis

Ingredients
- 200 g wheat
- 200 g wheat flour
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 300 ml lukewarm water
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- flour (for the work surface)
Instructions
- 1. Grind the wheat very finely.
- 2. Mix the ground flour in a bowl with the white flour and the salt.
- 3. Press a well into the center of the flour mixture.
- 4. Add water spoonful by spoonful.
- 5. Knead the dough until it is soft and pliable.
- 6. Knead the oil into the dough.
- 7. Cover the dough.
- 8. Let the dough rest in a warm place for about 40 minutes.
- 9. Divide the dough into about 16 equal-sized balls.
- 10. Lightly flour the work surface.
- 11. Roll the dough balls into round flatbreads with a diameter of about 18 centimeters.
- 12. Preheat a large pan.
- 13. Cook the flatbreads without fat in the hot pan.
- 14. Fry them for about 1 to 2 minutes on the first side.
- 15. Turn the flatbreads.
- 16. Fry them for about 1 to 2 minutes on the second side.
- 17. Keep the finished flatbreads warm in the oven.
- 18. Serve the chapattis with curry.
