🍽️ Fresh Chapatis with Yogurt Dip

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 150 ml lukewarm water
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 400 g plain yogurt
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
- 10 cm cucumber (peeled and grated)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped mint
- mint (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Gradually add the water and knead it in.
- 3. Continue to knead the dough on a lightly floured work surface for about 10 minutes until it is soft.
- 4. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest for 1 hour.
- 5. Shape the dough into a roll and divide it into 12 equal portions.
- 6. Roll each portion on a lightly floured surface into a thin flatbread with a diameter of about 15 centimeters.
- 7. Grease a pan with ghee (clarified butter).
- 8. Fry the chapatis in it on each side over medium heat until small brown spots appear.
- 9. Stir the yogurt until smooth and mix in salt and cayenne pepper.
- 10. Add the cucumber and mint and fold them in.
- 11. Serve the dip in small bowls and garnish with fresh mint.
