🍽️ Mushroom Cheese Toast

Ingredients
- 250 g finely grated Emmental
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 0.5 bunch Basil
- 0.5 bunch Parsley
- 150 g Mushrooms
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 8 slices Toast bread
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the herbs under running water. Set aside a few basil leaves and chop the rest finely. Mix the chopped herbs with the cheese, butter, and a pinch of pepper.
- 2. Clean the mushrooms and slice them into thin strips. Sauté them in the butter until the released liquid has evaporated. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper.
- 3. Top the bread slices with the mushrooms. Spread the cheese-herb mixture over them and cut each toast diagonally once. Place the toasts in a shallow baking dish and bake in the preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
- 4. Garnish the finished toasts with the reserved basil leaves before serving.
