🍳 Carrot Cake Porridge

Ingredients
- 1 pear
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 pinch clove powder
- 50 ml apple juice
- 1 carrot (120 g each)
- 2 tbsp dried cranberries (15 g each)
- 100 g oat flakes (fine flakes)
- 300 ml oat drink (oat milk)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp pecans (15 g each)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the pear and remove the stem.
- 2. Cut the fruit into approx. 1 cm cubes.
- 3. Place the pear pieces in a pan.
- 4. Add maple syrup, ground cloves, and apple juice.
- 5. Cook the mixture over medium heat for approx. 3 minutes.
- 6. Remove the pan from the heat and let the pears cool briefly.
- 7. Remove the carrot stems and peel them.
- 8. Grate the carrots finely.
- 9. Roughly chop the cranberries.
- 10. Place oat flakes, oat drink, cinnamon, salt, grated carrots, and cranberries in a pot.
- 11. Warm the ingredients over medium heat.
- 12. Reduce the heat to low.
- 13. Simmer the mixture while stirring constantly for approx. 5 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
- 14. Roughly chop the pecans.
- 15. Divide the porridge among several plates.
- 16. Top with the spiced pears.
- 17. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top as a garnish.
