  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  2. 2. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them very finely.
  3. 3. Stir the chopped garlic into the tomato sauce.
  4. 4. Season the tomato sauce with salt, pepper, sugar, and wine.
  5. 5. Set the seasoned tomato sauce aside.
  6. 6. Peel the onion and chop it finely as well.
  7. 7. Mix the minced meat in a bowl with the onions.
  8. 8. Add the egg, mustard, half of the remaining tomato sauce, and thyme to the meat mixture.
  9. 9. Season the meat filling generously with salt and pepper.
  10. 10. Fill the cannelloni tubes with the meat mixture.
  11. 11. Spread the rest of the tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  12. 12. Place the filled cannelloni side by side on the sauce.
  13. 13. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes.
  14. 14. Distribute the mozzarella cubes evenly over the cannelloni.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the dish with grated parmesan.
  16. 16. Finish baking the cannelloni in the preheated oven.
