🍽️ Airy Buttermilk Quark Cream

Ingredients
- 6 sheets white gelatin
- 250 g cream quark
- 125 ml buttermilk
- 50 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 150 ml whipping cream
- cherries (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Place the gelatin in a bowl of cold water for five minutes.
- 2. Whisk the quark in a separate bowl with the buttermilk, sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon zest.
- 3. Gently squeeze the soaked gelatin sheet.
- 4. Melt the gelatin sheet over medium heat.
- 5. Stir the melted gelatin quickly into the quark mixture.
- 6. Place the bowl in the refrigerator until the mixture begins to thicken.
- 7. Whip the cream until stiff.
- 8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the quark mixture.
- 9. Fill the cream into cold rinsed molds.
- 10. Place the molds in the refrigerator for two to three hours.
- 11. Dip the molds briefly in hot water to release the cream.
- 12. Turn the cream out onto plates.
- 13. Serve the cream garnished with cherries.
