  1. 1. Warm the almond milk together with 60 grams of butter and one tablespoon of sugar in a pot over low heat. Let the mixture cool down slightly until it is lukewarm, then stir in the yeast. Let this starter dough rest for about 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Knead the starter dough with the flour, 55 grams of sugar, the eggs, and a pinch of salt into a soft dough. Cover it and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
  3. 3. Knead the dough once more briefly on a lightly floured work surface and roll it out to the size of a baking sheet. Line a baking sheet with baking paper, place the dough on it, and let it rise again for about 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Melt the remaining butter with the remaining sugar in a pot over low heat. Then add the almonds and cinnamon and mix everything well.
  5. 5. Press small indentations into the dough using the handle of a cooking spoon. Distribute the butter mixture over the dough so that the indentations fill with liquid. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees conventional heat (convection 180 degrees or gas mark 3) for about 15 to 20 minutes.
