  1. 1. Wash the fennel and chicory (a cabbage-like plant) and remove the tough base. Cut them into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
  2. 2. Wash the oranges and cut them in half.
  3. 3. Place the vegetables and oranges on a grill that is not too hot. Cook them for about 10 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, brush with oil, and sprinkle with fresh rosemary needles.
  4. 4. Serve the dish with crusty bread for skewering (stock bread).
