🥗 Colorful Salad with Cheese Crostini

Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce
- 4 small goat cheese (Crottin de Chavignol)
- 1 bunch arugula
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 4 small slice country bread
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp mustard
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the leafy greens under cold water.
- 2. Shake the greens dry.
- 3. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Wash the tomatoes.
- 5. Slice the tomatoes into rounds or quarters.
- 6. Peel the onion.
- 7. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 8. Place the prepared vegetables on one side of a large plate.
- 9. Mix vinegar, oil, mustard, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top heat).
- 11. Heat a little olive oil in a pan.
- 12. Toast the bread slices in the pan until golden brown.
- 13. Place the Crottin de Chavignol (a soft goat cheese) in an ovenproof dish.
- 14. Bake the cheese in the preheated oven for 7 to 8 minutes until golden.
- 15. Remove the warm cheese from the oven.
- 16. Place the cheese on the toasted bread.
- 17. Place the crostini next to the salad on the plate.
- 18. Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
