🍕 Colorful Melon Pizza

Ingredients
- 750 g watermelon (1/2 watermelon)
- 200 g Parma ham (16 slices)
- 16 mini mozzarella balls (45 % fat in dry matter)
- 100 g cherries (1 handful; e. g. heart cherries)
- 10 g herbs (0.5 handful; e. g. basil, micro herbs, cress)
- salt
- pepper
- 4 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 tsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut two thick slices (about two centimeters thick) from the half watermelon.
- 2. Use the rest of the melon for another snack.
- 3. Cut each of the two slices into eight equal pieces.
- 4. Place the melon pieces on a plate and arrange them in a circle.
- 5. Cut the Parma ham in half lengthwise.
- 6. Roll the ham strips into small spirals.
- 7. Distribute the ham rolls evenly over the melon slices.
- 8. Place the small mozzarella balls evenly over the melon slices.
- 9. Wash the cherries thoroughly.
- 10. Pat the cherries dry with a kitchen towel.
- 11. Place the cherries in the gaps between the melon pieces.
- 12. Wash the herbs under running water.
- 13. Shake the herbs dry.
- 14. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 15. Decorate the melon pizza with the herb leaves.
- 16. Season the pizza with salt and pepper to taste.
- 17. Drizzle the pizza with balsamic vinegar.
- 18. Drizzle the pizza with olive oil as a final step.
