🍽️ Colorful Bread Skewers

Ingredients
- 125 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tbsp chive rings
- 1 tbsp chopped chervil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 slices pumpernickel
- 0.5 apple
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 75 g seedless grapes
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the cream cheese and cream in a bowl until the mixture is completely smooth.
- 2. Gently fold the chopped herbs into the cream mixture.
- 3. Season the mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Spread half of the cream evenly onto two slices of pumpernickel bread.
- 5. Place the remaining two bread slices on top.
- 6. Press the bread stack down gently to help it hold together.
- 7. Cut the bread stack into small squares measuring approximately 2.5 by 2.5 centimeters.
- 8. Quarter the apple and remove the core.
- 9. Slice the flesh into very thin wedges.
- 10. Cut these wedges in half again lengthwise.
- 11. Drizzle the apple wedges immediately with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- 12. Wash the grapes thoroughly.
- 13. Thread the apple pieces and grapes alternately onto four skewers.
- 14. Serve the finished skewers.
