🍽️ Colorful Bratwurst Skewers

Ingredients
- 150 g green-skinned apples (1 green-skinned apple)
- 150 g small yellow zucchini (1 small yellow zucchini)
- 2 small red onions
- 252 g fat-reduced Nuremberg roast sausages (12 fat-reduced Nuremberg roast sausages; 22 % fat)
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 1 tbsp sweet mustard
- 1 tbsp apple juice
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apple under running water.
- 2. Pat the apple dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the apple into four quarters.
- 4. Remove the core from the apple pieces.
- 5. Slice the apple pieces into thin rounds.
- 6. Wash the zucchini thoroughly.
- 7. Trim the hard ends off the zucchini.
- 8. Halve the zucchini lengthwise.
- 9. Slice the zucchini halves into rounds.
- 10. Peel the onions completely.
- 11. Cut the onions into eight equal wedges.
- 12. Cut the sausages in half crosswise.
- 13. Thread alternating pieces of apple, zucchini, and onion onto the skewers.
- 14. Add the sausage halves between the vegetables.
- 15. Use six long skewers for the portion.
- 16. Place the assembled skewers in a large aluminum grilling pan.
- 17. Put the oil, mustard, and apple juice into a small bowl.
- 18. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well.
- 19. Season the marinade with pepper.
- 20. Brush the skewers with the marinade.
- 21. Grill the skewers on the hot grate.
- 22. Grill the skewers for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 23. Turn the skewers 2 to 3 times during grilling.
