  2. 2. Cover it with about 800 milliliters of cold water that you have seasoned with salt.
  3. 3. Bring the water to a boil.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
  5. 5. Let the bulgur simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove the pot from the stove.
  7. 7. Cover the pot.
  8. 8. Let the bulgur swell for 15 minutes.
  9. 9. Check if the bulgur is cooked but still has a slight bite.
  10. 10. Slice the spring onions into rings.
  11. 11. Chop the garlic cloves finely.
  12. 12. Halve the tomatoes and remove the seeds.
  13. 13. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
  14. 14. Chop the parsley and the mint finely.
  15. 15. Let the bulgur cool down a bit.
  16. 16. Mix the bulgur with the spring onions, the garlic, the tomatoes, and the herbs.
  17. 17. Stir in the lime juice and the oil.
  18. 18. Season the salad to taste with salt and pepper.
