Ingredients
- 1 stale roll
- 600 g ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp roughly chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp green, pitted olives
- 2 tbsp dried, marinated tomatoes (jar)
- 0.5 ball mozzarella (approx. 65 g)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 100 g flour
Instructions
- 1. Soak the bread roll in lukewarm water, squeeze it out well, crumble it, and mix it with the minced meat in a bowl. Press a well into the center, crack the egg into it, and distribute the parsley around the edge.
- 2. Drain the olives, tomatoes, and mozzarella well and cut them into small cubes.
- 3. Knead the minced meat mixture, season with salt and pepper, and divide it into small portions. Flatten each portion, place some filling in the center, enclose it with the meat, and shape into meatballs.
- 4. Lightly salt and pepper the flour and roll the meatballs in it. Gently shake off any excess flour.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 200°C top and bottom heat, place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Turn them once during baking.
- 6. Remove the finished meatballs and serve immediately.
