  8. 8. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan.
  9. 9. Sauté the onion cubes in the hot oil until translucent.
  10. 10. Pour in the broth.
  11. 11. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  12. 12. Season with vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  13. 13. Pour the hot broth over the potato slices.
  14. 14. Gently fold the potatoes in.
  15. 15. Let the salad rest for about 20 minutes.

  17. 17. Halve the cucumber lengthwise.
