🥗 Meatballs on a Salad of Onions and Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 600 g minced meat
- 1 onion
- 20 g butter
- 1 roll (from the previous day)
- 0.5 bunch parsley
- 1 egg
- 0.5 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp mustard
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 6 tomatoes
- 2 cooking onions
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and chop it finely.
- 2. Sauté the onion in butter until it is soft and translucent.
- 3. Soak the breadcrumbs in lukewarm water.
- 4. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 5. Chop the parsley finely.
- 6. Squeeze the soaked breadcrumbs.
- 7. Put the sautéed onions, the parsley, the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, marjoram, the egg, and the meat into a bowl.
- 8. Mix everything into a uniform minced meat dough.
- 9. Shape 8 round meatballs from the mixture.
- 10. Brush the meatballs with olive oil.
- 11. Grill the meatballs for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
- 12. Wash the tomatoes and remove the core.
- 13. Cut the tomatoes into wedges.
- 14. Peel the onions and halve them.
- 15. Cut the onions into strips.
- 16. Distribute the onions and tomatoes on plates.
- 17. Sprinkle the salad with parsley.
- 18. Drizzle the salad with lemon juice and oil.
- 19. Place the meatballs on the salad.
- 20. Serve the dish.
