  1. 1. Place the buckwheat in a jar and cover it with cold water.
  2. 2. Let the buckwheat soak overnight.
  3. 3. Drain the water the next day.
  4. 4. Rinse the buckwheat under running water.
  5. 5. Remove one third of the soaked grain and set it aside.
  6. 6. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  7. 7. Scrape out the tiny seeds using the back of a knife.
  8. 8. Remove the green stems from the strawberries.
  9. 9. Wash the strawberries well.
  10. 10. Pat the strawberries dry.
  11. 11. Cut the strawberries in half or quarters depending on their size.
  12. 12. Save 75 grams of the berries for decoration.
  13. 13. Mix the oat drink with the remaining two-thirds of the buckwheat.
  14. 14. Add the remaining strawberries to the mixture.
  15. 15. Blend everything smooth using a hand blender.
  16. 16. Place the pureed mixture in a pot.
  17. 17. Add the agave syrup.
  18. 18. Add the vanilla seeds.
  19. 19. Warm the mixture over medium heat.
  20. 20. Stir regularly.
  21. 21. Let it warm for 2 to 3 minutes.
  22. 22. Stir in the reserved buckwheat.
  23. 23. Fill the warm porridge into bowls or glasses.
  24. 24. Decorate it with the reserved strawberries.
  25. 25. Sprinkle a few sliced almonds over it.
