🍳 Buckwheat Porridge with Banana and Chocolate Topping

Ingredients
- 400 ml oat drink (oat milk)
- 0.5 vanilla pod
- 1 pinch ground cardamom
- 1 pinch cinnamon powder
- 3 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp raw cane sugar
- 125 g buckwheat groats
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 tsp chia seeds
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oat drink in a pot. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife. Add the vanilla seeds, the empty pod, cardamom, cinnamon, cocoa, and cane sugar to the oat drink. Stir everything and bring it to a boil.
- 2. Stir in the buckwheat. Let the mixture come to a boil briefly, then let it swell for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- 3. Meanwhile, peel the banana and slice the flesh. Heat the butter in a pan and lightly brown the banana slices over medium heat.
- 4. Fill the buckwheat porridge into small bowls and serve garnished with the banana slices, cocoa nibs, and chia seeds.
