  4. 4. Gently warm the water in the pot.
  5. 5. Place the metal bowl with the chocolate into the hot water.
  6. 6. Ensure that no water gets into the bowl with the chocolate.
  7. 7. Melt the chocolate in a water bath while stirring constantly.
  8. 8. Set the melted chocolate aside briefly.
  9. 9. Take a separate bowl.
  10. 10. Beat the butter with the brown sugar until creamy and smooth.
  11. 11. Add the eggs to the butter mixture.
  12. 12. Stir in the eggs.
  13. 13. Add the melted chocolate to the mixture.
  14. 14. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  15. 15. Mix the flour with the baking powder.
  16. 16. Add a pinch of salt to the flour mixture.
  17. 17. Add vanilla to the flour mixture.
