  2. 2. Wash the fresh figs under running water.
  3. 3. Remove the stems from the fresh figs.
  4. 4. Slice the fresh figs into wedges.
  5. 5. Cut the dried figs into thin strips.
  6. 6. Peel the onion.
  7. 7. Halve the peeled onion.
  8. 8. Slice the onion halves into thin strips.
  9. 9. Place the pine nuts in a non-stick pan.
  10. 10. Toast the pine nuts without added fat until golden yellow.
  11. 11. Remove the toasted pine nuts from the pan.
  12. 12. Let the pine nuts cool down completely.
  13. 13. Place the bread in a large bowl.
  14. 14. Add the fresh figs to the bowl.
  15. 15. Add the dried figs to the bowl.
  16. 16. Add the onion strips to the bowl.
  17. 17. Add the cooled pine nuts to the bowl.
  18. 18. Mix all ingredients in the bowl well.
