  1. 1. Remove the hard crust from the bread and tear the rest into small pieces. Press the peeled potatoes through a potato press directly into a bowl and mix them well with the bread pieces.
  2. 2. Fry the mixture in a hot pan with oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Add the pressed garlic.
  3. 3. Wash the bell peppers, cut them in half, remove the inside, and slice them into strips. Fry the vegetables for the last 3 to 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
