🍽️ Bread stuffing for turkey roast

Ingredients
- 400 g Toast bread
- 250 ml Milk
- 1 stalk Celery
- 1 Onion
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped Parsley
- 2 Eggs
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Cut the toast slices into small cubes.
- 2. Place the bread cubes in a bowl.
- 3. Pour hot milk over the cubes.
- 4. Let the mixture soak for about 10 minutes.
- 5. Wash and clean the celery.
- 6. Dice the celery finely.
- 7. Peel the onion.
- 8. Dice the onion finely as well.
- 9. Heat butter in a pan.
- 10. Sauté the celery and onion together in the hot butter.
- 11. Cook the vegetables until they are soft.
- 12. Chop the parsley.
- 13. Add the parsley and eggs to the soaked bread cubes.
- 14. Mix everything into a loose filling.
- 15. Season the filling with salt.
- 16. Season the filling with pepper.
- 17. Season the filling with nutmeg.
