  1. 1. Let the tomatoes drain slightly and chop them into coarse pieces. Place them in a tall blending jar. Add 90 grams of sunflower seeds, some rapeseed oil, and 3 to 4 tablespoons of water. Puree everything until smooth. Season the spread with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. 2. Wash the basil and shake it dry. Finely chop the leaves. Take three quarters of the amount and stir it into the tomato spread.
  3. 3. Spread the mixture onto four slices of oat bread. Sprinkle the remaining sunflower seeds and basil on top. Serve immediately.
