🍽️ Fresh Blackberry Vinegar from Your Own Pot

Ingredients
- 350 g Blackberries
- 75 g Sugar
- 400 ml White wine vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the blackberries under running water.
- 2. Remove the stems from the berries.
- 3. Let the berries drain well in a sieve.
- 4. Place the blackberries and the sugar into a pot.
- 5. Gently crush the berries with a spoon.
- 6. Heat the mixture on the stove.
- 7. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 8. Rinse jars or bottles with a wide opening with hot water.
- 9. Pour the hot blackberry-sugar mixture into the prepared containers.
- 10. Pour the vinegar over the berries in the jars.
- 11. Place the containers in a sunny spot.
- 12. Let the mixture infuse for about two weeks.
- 13. Shake the jars occasionally.
- 14. Strain the vinegar through a fine sieve.
- 15. Remove the remaining berry pieces in the process.
- 16. Pour the finished vinegar into clean bottles.
