🍳 Grandma's Brambleberry Jam

Ingredients
- 1.2 kg blackberries
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
- 1 untreated lemon (juice)
- 60 ml cassis
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the brambleberries under running water.
- 2. Remove the stems from the berries.
- 3. Place the brambleberries in a bowl together with the sugar and lemon juice.
- 4. Let the mixture sit for about 2 hours.
- 5. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly.
- 6. Let the jam bubble vigorously for about 4 minutes.
- 7. Add the liqueur to the jam.
- 8. Perform a setting test by placing a small amount of jam on a cold plate.
- 9. Check if the jam firms up to see if it is ready.
- 10. Fill the hot jam into prepared jars.
- 11. Seal the jars tightly.
- 12. Let the jam cool down completely.
