  2. 2. Separate the broccoli into small florets.
  3. 3. Bring a pot of plenty of water and salt to a boil.
  4. 4. Boil the broccoli florets for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove the broccoli from the water while it is still firm to the bite.
  6. 6. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  7. 7. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
  8. 8. Heat the butter in a pot.
  9. 9. Sauté the onion and garlic vegetables until soft.
  10. 10. Continue cooking the vegetables until they become translucent.
  11. 11. Stir the flour into the butter mixture.
  12. 12. Fry the flour mixture for one minute over low heat.
  13. 13. Pour in the milk gradually.
  14. 14. Stir the sauce constantly.
  15. 15. Simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes.
  16. 16. Season the sauce with salt.
  17. 17. Season the sauce with pepper.
  18. 18. Grate some nutmeg fresh.
  19. 19. Add the grated nutmeg to the sauce.
  20. 20. Place the broccoli in a baking dish.

  28. 28. Remove the casserole when it is golden brown.
