🍽️ Broccoli Vegetable Gratin

Ingredients
- 1 kg broccoli
- salt
- 8 tomatoes
- 6 shallots
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- pepper (from the mill)
- 0.5 tsp dried thyme
- 0.5 tsp dried rosemary
- 0.5 tsp dried oregano
- 150 g Gouda (coarsely grated)
- butter (for the dish)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the broccoli, peel the tough stem if necessary, and halve or quarter the florets lengthwise. Blanch them (cook briefly in boiling water) in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes, drain, and immediately shock them in ice-cold water.
- 2. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, peel off the skin, halve them, and remove the seeds.
- 3. Peel the shallots and quarter them lengthwise.
- 4. Gently mix the vegetables, season with salt, pepper, and herbs, place them in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, and bake in the preheated oven (220 degrees) for about 15 minutes until the cheese is lightly browned. Remove from the oven and serve with baguette.
