  1. 1. Turn on the oven and set it to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Cut the rolls horizontally in the middle.
  3. 3. Brush the cut sides of the rolls generously with the olive oil.
  4. 4. Slice the cheese into eight equal, thin pieces.
  5. 5. Place the roll halves with the oiled side facing up on a baking sheet.
  6. 6. Cover each roll half with a slice of cheese.
  7. 7. Roughly chop the almonds and walnuts into small pieces.
  8. 8. Wash the cherries under running water.
  9. 9. Remove the pits from the washed cherries.
  10. 10. Distribute the chopped nuts evenly over the cheese slices.
  11. 11. Add the pitted cherries to the rolls as well.
  12. 12. Drizzle the pesto over the topped roll halves.
  13. 13. Place the tray into the preheated oven.
  14. 14. Bake the rolls until golden brown for 10 to 15 minutes.
  15. 15. Remove the rolls from the oven and serve them warm.
  16. 16. Garnish the finished rolls with fresh sprouts.
