  1. 1. Gently crush the juniper berries using a mortar or the flat side of a knife.
  2. 2. Place the dried nettle and birch leaves in a pot. Pour 250 milliliters of boiling water over them. Let the tea steep under a lid for 8 minutes.
  3. 3. Rinse the lemon under hot water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel. Peel the skin thinly and cut it into fine strips.
  4. 4. Pour the finished tea through a sieve into a cup or glass. Garnish it with the lemon peel strips.
