Ingredients
- 750 g beef goulash
- 3 tbsp clarified butter
- 400 g onions
- 2 tbsp paprika powder
- 300 ml beer
- 200 ml beef stock
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- salt
- pepper
- 2 orange bell peppers
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 0.5 bunch parsley
Instructions
- 1. Heat ghee in a large pot.
- 2. Brown the meat cubes in batches.
- 3. Peel the onions.
- 4. Cut the onions into large pieces.
- 5. Sauté the onions in the remaining fat until translucent.
- 6. Return the meat to the pot.
- 7. Sprinkle the meat with paprika powder.
- 8. Deglaze the mixture with beer.
- 9. Add the beef stock.
- 10. Add cumin, salt, and pepper.
- 11. Place the lid on the pot.
- 12. Simmer the goulash for 90 minutes.
- 13. Halve the peppers.
- 14. Remove the core from the peppers.
- 15. Wash the peppers.
- 16. Cut the peppers into large pieces.
- 17. Add the peppers to the goulash.
- 18. Cook everything for another 30 minutes.
- 19. Stir in the crème fraîche before serving.
- 20. Sprinkle the dish with chopped parsley.
