🍽️ Bratwurst Spiral with Potato Salad

Ingredients
- 4 poultry fried sausages (in spiral shape)
- 12 fresh bay leaves
- 4 rosemary sprigs
- 8 green peppercorns
- 50 ml olive oil
- salt
- 1 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 2 lettuce hearts (romaine lettuce)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 30 minutes.
- 3. Drain the cooking water.
- 4. Peel the potatoes.
- 5. Let the potatoes cool down completely.
- 6. Wash the cucumber.
- 7. Grate the cucumber finely using a kitchen grater.
- 8. Wash the chives.
- 9. Shake the chives dry.
- 10. Cut the chives into small rings.
- 11. Mix salad cream, yogurt, and sugar in a bowl.
- 12. Season the yogurt mixture with salt and pepper.
- 13. Slice the cooled potatoes.
- 14. Mix the potato slices with the grated cucumber.
- 15. Add the yogurt mixture and the chives.
- 16. Let the salad rest for about 20 minutes.
- 17. Taste the salad again at the end and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 18. Whisk together mustard, sugar, vinegar, peppercorns, and olive oil to make a dressing.
- 19. Season the dressing with salt.
- 20. Wash the hearts of lettuce.
- 21. Remove the tough stems from the lettuce hearts.
- 22. Separate the lettuce hearts into individual leaves.
- 23. Insert bay leaves into the bratwurst spirals.
- 24. Place rosemary sprigs on top of the bratwursts.
- 25. Grill the bratwursts for about 6 to 8 minutes on each side.
- 26. Serve the bratwursts together with the potato salad and lettuce leaves.
- 27. Provide the dressing on the side.
