🍽️ Crispy Fried Potatoes with Bratwursts

Ingredients
- 800 g small, new potatoes
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- salt
- 4 fried sausages (approx. 500 g)
- 1 onion
- 250 g cocktail tomatoes
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 slices stale white bread
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- cress (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes until tender.
- 3. Let the potatoes cool down.
- 4. Cut the cooled potatoes in half lengthwise.
- 5. Slice the bratwursts slightly diagonally.
- 6. Peel the onions.
- 7. Cut the onions into thin strips.
- 8. Wash the tomatoes.
- 9. Heat oil in a coated pan.
- 10. Fry the potatoes, onions, and sausages in the hot oil for 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown.
- 11. Add the tomatoes to the pan.
- 12. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
- 13. Fry everything together for another 3 minutes.
- 14. Cut the white bread into small cubes.
- 15. Peel the garlic clove.
- 16. Finely chop the garlic.
- 17. Heat butter in a separate pan.
- 18. Toss the bread cubes and garlic together in the hot butter.
- 19. Divide the sausage pan among several plates.
- 20. Sprinkle the dish with the seasoned bread cubes.
- 21. Garnish the food with fresh cress.
- 22. Serve the dish immediately.
