🍳 Fried Potatoes – Smarter

Ingredients
- 250 g potatoes (4 potatoes; boiled potatoes without skin, from the day before)
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tsp butter
Instructions
- 1. Slice the boiled potatoes into rounds about 1 centimeter thick.
- 2. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
- 3. Heat a large non-stick pan, add the oil, and spread it evenly using a brush.
- 4. Place the potato slices side by side in the pan and fry them over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- 5. Turn the slices over with a spatula and fry them on the other side for another 5 to 6 minutes.
- 6. Distribute the onion rings over the potatoes and season everything with salt and pepper.
- 7. Place small pieces of butter on the potatoes. Shake the pan briefly once the butter melts to distribute it evenly.
- 8. Continue frying over low heat for another 5 minutes, turning the potatoes several times. This ensures they turn nicely brown without burning.
