🍽️ Crispy Fried Potatoes without Bacon

Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes (mostly waxy or waxy)
- 30 g fat (ghee, margarine or oil)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Boil the potatoes with the skin on, preferably the day before. Peel them immediately after cooking and let them cool down completely overnight.
- 2. Heat the fat in a large pan. Add the potatoes, reduce the heat, and only turn them once the bottom layer is lightly browned. This takes about 8 minutes.
- 3. Do not set the temperature too high to prevent the potatoes from burning.
- 4. Season the finished potatoes with salt and pepper at the end.
