🍽️ Crispy Pan-Fried Potatoes Stuffed with Spinach

Ingredients
- 750 g spinach
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 3 tbsp clarified butter
- 4 tomatoes
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- nutmeg
- 3 potatoes
- 80 g cottage cheese
Instructions
- 1. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the tough stems from the spinach.
- 3. Let the spinach drain well.
- 4. Peel the onion.
- 5. Peel the garlic clove.
- 6. Dice the onion into fine cubes.
- 7. Dice the garlic clove into fine cubes.
- 8. Heat one tablespoon of clarified butter in a pot.
- 9. Sauté the onion cubes in the hot fat until soft.
- 10. Add the drained spinach to the pot.
- 11. Let the spinach wilt in the pot.
- 12. Dice the tomatoes into small pieces.
- 13. Add the diced tomatoes to the spinach.
- 14. Add the diced garlic clove to the spinach.
- 15. Toss the ingredients briefly.
- 16. Season the mixture with salt.
- 17. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 18. Season the mixture with nutmeg.
- 19. Peel the potatoes.
- 20. Wash the peeled potatoes.
- 21. Slice the potatoes as thinly as possible using a vegetable slicer.
- 22. Heat the remaining clarified butter in a frying pan.
- 23. Remove the pan from the heat briefly.
- 24. Arrange about five to six potato slices per portion in a circle in the pan.
- 25. Distribute about one to two tablespoons of the spinach mixture on top of the potatoes.
- 26. Ensure that a potato border of one to two centimeters wide remains free.
- 27. Place one teaspoon of cottage cheese on top of the spinach mixture.
- 28. Cover the cottage cheese well with more potato slices.
- 29. Return the pan to the stove.
- 30. Fry the potatoes slowly over medium heat.
- 31. Carefully turn the browned potato slices using a spatula.
- 32. Fry the second side until golden brown.
- 33. Season the finished potatoes with salt.
- 34. Season the finished potatoes with pepper.
- 35. Keep the finished potatoes warm.
- 36. Prepare the next portions in the same way.
- 37. Grease ovenproof molds.
- 38. Place the potato-spinach mixture into the greased molds.
- 39. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 40. Bake the molds in the oven for about 40 minutes.
