  1. 1. Put spelt groats and apple juice into a small bowl.
  2. 2. Let the mixture soak for one hour.
  3. 3. Put the soaked spelt mixture, hazelnuts, and raisins into a blender or use a hand blender.
  4. 4. Chop everything into a fine mass.
  5. 5. Season the filling with a pinch of cinnamon.
  6. 6. Wash the apple thoroughly.
  7. 7. Dry the apple with a cloth.
  8. 8. Cut off the top part of the apple to use as a lid.
  9. 9. Remove the core generously with a corer or a spoon.
  10. 10. Place the hollowed-out apple in a small baking dish.
  11. 11. Fill the apple with the spelt mixture.
  12. 12. Place the apple lid back on.
  13. 13. Add three tablespoons of water to the baking dish.
  14. 14. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius conventional heat.
  15. 15. Bake the apples for about 20 minutes.
  16. 16. Remove the apples from the oven.
  17. 17. Let the apples cool down briefly.
  18. 18. Serve the baked apples warm.
