  7. 7. Peel the garlic.
  8. 8. Dice the garlic finely.
  9. 9. Dice the bacon.
  10. 10. Fry the bacon cubes in a pan until crispy.
  11. 11. Transfer the bacon bits to a plate.
  12. 12. Add olive oil to the fat in the pan.
  13. 13. Sauté the shallots in the oil.
  14. 14. Add the beans and the carrots to the pan.
  15. 15. Cook the vegetables for 5 to 8 minutes.
