  1. 1. Wash the beans, trim the ends, and cut them into pieces about the width of a finger. Peel the potatoes and dice them. Peel the onions and finely chop them along with the bacon.
  2. 2. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the bacon and onions in it over low heat, stirring frequently, until they become translucent and soft.
  3. 3. Cook the beans in the broth and the potatoes in a little salted water until tender. Mix the potatoes, beans with the cooking broth, bacon, and onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
