  1. 1. Trim and rinse the beans. Boil them in salted water for 15 minutes. Drain well. Clean the chili pepper, rinse it, and slice it into rings.
  2. 2. Toast the cashew nuts in a pan without fat. Peel the garlic and slice it. Fry the garlic and chili pepper in 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the beans, season with salt and sambal, and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Bring the broth to a boil and dissolve the saffron in it. Add the couscous and the remaining oil, stir, and let it swell for 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Fluff the couscous with a fork. Stir in the butter and serve the dish with the beans and roasted cashew nuts.
