🍽️ Hearty Beef and Bean Stew

Ingredients
- 500 g beef goulash
- 2 tbsp oil
- 120 g cannellini beans
- salt
- pepper
- 1 bunch mixed herbs (bay leaf, parsley, sage)
- 250 g waxy potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 500 ml beef broth
- 0.5 chili pepper
Instructions
- 1. Pour water over the beans the night before.
- 2. Let the beans soak overnight, covered.
- 3. Drain the soaking water the next day.
- 4. Peel the onions.
- 5. Cut the onions into large chunks.
- 6. Peel the garlic.
- 7. Wash the chili pepper.
- 8. Halve the chili pepper.
- 9. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 10. Wash the herbs.
- 11. Tie the herbs into a bundle.
- 12. Peel the potatoes.
- 13. Cut the potatoes into large pieces.
- 14. Cut the meat into pieces 2 to 3 centimeters in size.
- 15. Season the meat with salt.
- 16. Season the meat with pepper.
- 17. Heat oil in a pot.
- 18. Brown the meat in the hot oil.
- 19. Add the onions to the meat.
- 20. Add the garlic to the meat.
- 21. Cook the onions and garlic with the meat.
- 22. Stir in the beans.
- 23. Place the herb bundle in the pot.
- 24. Pour in the beef broth.
- 25. Add the chili pepper.
- 26. Cover the pot.
- 27. Simmer the stew on low heat.
- 28. Simmer for about 40 minutes.
- 29. Adjust the seasoning of the stew.
- 30. Serve the stew.
