Ingredients
- 500 g white beans (from the can)
- 3 carrots
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- vegetable broth (instant)
- 3 bay leaves
- salt
- pepper from the mill
Instructions
- 1. Pour the beans into a colander.
- 2. Rinse them briefly under running water.
- 3. Let the beans drain well.
- 4. Peel the carrots.
- 5. Slice the carrots into rounds.
- 6. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 7. Heat the olive oil in a pan.
- 8. Sauté the carrots and garlic in the hot oil.
- 9. Add the vegetable broth to the pan.
- 10. Add the bay leaves.
- 11. Cook the carrots until they are tender but still firm to the bite.
- 12. Add the drained beans to the pot.
- 13. Simmer everything over low heat.
- 14. Season the dish with salt.
- 15. Season the dish with pepper.
