  1. 1. Peel the carrots and the kohlrabi. Slice the carrots into rounds and dice the kohlrabi into small cubes.
  2. 2. Bring the vegetable broth to a boil and cook the carrots and kohlrabi in it for about 15 minutes. Remove a few pieces of vegetables, puree the rest until smooth, and season the soup with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Pour the pureed mixture back into the pot, add the cauliflower, and let the soup simmer gently for another 5 minutes. Stir in the cream and serve the soup in soup bowls. Garnish with chives if desired.
