🍽️ Cauliflower Tomato Gratin

Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower (as small as possible)
- 250 g tomatoes
- butter (for the baking dish)
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 3 eggs
- 250 g whipping cream
- 200 g mozzarella
Instructions
- 1. Clean the cauliflower, break it into small florets, wash everything thoroughly, and let it drain. Wash the tomatoes, cut them into thick wedges, and remove the hard stem ends.
- 2. Grease a baking dish with butter and add the vegetables. Whisk the eggs with the cream, salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg, pour the mixture over the vegetables, and bake in the preheated oven at 170 °C for about 15 minutes.
- 3. Meanwhile, slice the mozzarella into thin pieces. Distribute them over the gratin and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. For better browning, you can use the oven's grill function for the last 1 to 2 minutes.
