🍽️ Cauliflower with Creamy Cheese Topping

Ingredients
- 700 g fresh cauliflower
- 50 g grated Gouda
- sweet whipping cream
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 egg (size L)
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg (grated)
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly.
- 2. Break the cauliflower into small, bite-sized florets.
- 3. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- 4. Cook the cauliflower florets in the boiling water over medium heat for a few minutes.
- 5. Place the grated cheese in a deep bowl.
- 6. Add cream, milk, and an egg to the bowl with the cheese.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 8. Grate some fresh nutmeg directly into the bowl.
- 9. Add the chopped parsley.
- 10. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly with a fork.
- 11. Pour the cheese-milk mixture into a saucepan.
- 12. Heat the sauce briefly in the saucepan while stirring constantly.
- 13. Drain the cooked cauliflower in a colander.
- 14. Pour the warm cheese cream sauce over the cauliflower.
- 15. Serve the dish with fresh vegetables as a side.
