  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Wash the cauliflower and cut it into small florets.
  3. 3. Peel the onion and dice it finely.
  4. 4. Sauté the onion dice in the oil in an ovenproof pan until translucent.
  5. 5. Add the cauliflower.
  6. 6. Pour in the vegetable broth.
  7. 7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  8. 8. Meanwhile, whisk the cream with the eggs.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  10. 10. Pour the cream-egg mixture over the cauliflower.
  11. 11. Bake for another 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
  13. 13. Bake for a further 10 minutes until golden.
