  1. 1. Put the flour into a large bowl and sift it there.
  2. 2. Make a small indentation in the center.
  3. 3. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk.
  4. 4. Add the yeast milk along with half of the sugar and the salt to the indentation.
  5. 5. Let this starter dough rise in a warm place for 15 minutes, covered.
  6. 6. Add the egg.
  7. 7. Knead everything into a smooth dough using the dough hooks of the mixer.
  8. 8. Let the dough rise for another 20 minutes.
  9. 9. Knead it briefly.
  10. 10. Let it rest for another 20 to 25 minutes.
  11. 11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  12. 12. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  13. 13. Wash the grapes.
  14. 14. Remove them from the stems.
  15. 15. Pit them if desired or use seedless grapes.
  16. 16. Knead the dough well again.
  17. 17. Roll it out to twice the size of the baking sheet.
  18. 18. Cover half of the dough with about three-quarters of the grapes.
  19. 19. Sprinkle half of the remaining sugar over it.
  20. 20. Drizzle half of the oil over it.
  21. 21. Fold the uncovered half of the dough over it.
  22. 22. Distribute the remaining grapes on the dough surface.
  23. 23. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar.
  24. 24. Drizzle with the remaining oil.
  25. 25. Bake the cake for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
  26. 26. Then reduce the temperature to 150 degrees.
  27. 27. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  28. 28. Cover the cake with aluminum foil in time if it gets too dark.
